Blur Final
I must say this was my favorite project.
Being able to decided what to set my camera to and decide how long I needed to keep my lens open for.
I felt like I was making the outcome of the photo not my camera.
Love it<33

The Day in the Life of Renae.
My life is a bipolar roller coaster, and I choose to accept my emotions whether they good or bad.

Self-portrait Project.
This was probably the hardest project for me to do. It is a lot more difficult than taking a facebook profile photo. Some of my photos didn't even turn out; some because I was figuring out my timer and others because the sun was to bright for my aperture setting. The last three were the hardest to express. I was having a really hard day and I just wanted to rip my hair out, so therefore that's exactly what I did. The first three in the second row I got a little personal and decided to express it through a photo. It was hard to get the right lighting so you could see the dark under and around my eyes, but I felt the message through in the photos.

Person Portrait Project.
I found that taking pictures of people is a lot harder than it sounds. You don't want them to just sit there and pose, you want capture something real, and emotion. My mom didn't want her picture taken at all. She was a hard subject. (Picture 1) I think perfectly reflects my mom because she looks irritated and about to burst, which is how she normally looks. She was in the midst of yelling at my sister and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to capture the "real her.
My sister however was a little easier in some ways but all she wanted to do was "look pretty." I just told her to walk around the yard and sing a song to herself, and then came Picture 2(she was whistling). Picture 3 she had been sent to sit on the steps for "time out" and was pouting and as a kid that's how you spend half of your time so it caught her "child-ness" perfectly.

Portrait Contact sheet.
A few blurry pictures at the beginning, due to not setting my shutter speed correctly, but towards the end it seemed to come a lot more easy. I had more fun shooting my sister, more energy and option. My mother however just kept yelling to let her read,as you can see in one of the photos above.

First Roll of Film(:
As I stepped out into the world of film photography I hit a few bumps..
At first I thought "24 pictures isn't enough for all the pictures I want to take" but during the assignments I had a hard time behind the lens finding things to capture. Some of my photos aren't as beautiful as I would like them to be,but hey I'm not claiming to be a professional. I am glad with the outcome and I am very excited to learn further.!
